“Personal branding” is such an awful-sounding phrase for what is truly a fun and necessary process.

Because you have to answer the question, “So, what do you do?”

And you have to answer the request, “So, tell me about yourself.”

And you have to be able to write about, post about, email about, chat about, make jokes about, design ads for, write copy about you. You have to be able to create web pages and online profiles and order forms and products and thank you pages and affiliate materials that accurately reflect the truth of who you are and what you do.
